Rehman Malik Pakistan’s interior minister vows to annihilate the Taliban. He said in an interview "If we were to achieve the prosperity for our people and the democracy that BB (Benazir Bhutto) wanted for us, we had to create a terrorist-free Pakistan. We had to rid ourselves of the 'Kalashnikov culture' that was imposed on us when the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan and which saw a growth in the number of Islamic Madrassas from 300 at that time (in 2001) to 20,000 when we took over the government. We had to bring about law and order and establish the government's writ right across the country. We had to put the fear of God into the militants and make sure that the government's writ reigned everywhere. We had to use force. There was no alternative to bullets."
My question to Rehman Malik is since when it is what Benazir Bhutto wants for the people and not what Allah wants? And since when it is the establishment of the government’s writ rather than the establishment of Allah law? It is clear that Allah is not on the side of Rehman Malik but rather on the side of the Taliban. Rehman Malik will be humiliated in this world and the life after.
