Ramadhan Greetings

Assalaamu 'Alaiykum; Peace and Guidance; Greetings; Good Night;

All praise is for Allaah, Lord of all the Worlds, who ordered us to follow His Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and to call to His Way, and may Allaah send praises and blessings of peace upon our Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), and upon his family, his Companions, and those who truly follow them until the Day of Judgment.

We implore Allaah, the Most High, to make this Ramadaan a month of blessing for everyone. May this Ramadaan bring peace and prosperity globally.

Indeed, Ramadaan is the month of blessings and great reward by Almighty Allaah for good observance of virtuous deeds, fasting and Salaah, thus we need to express our gratitude to Allaah, Who has enabled us to observe virtues, deed and at the same time, granted us abundant provision during this sacred month.

Ramadan is the best chance to ask Allah for forgiveness. Thank Him for His blessings and for keeping us alive till this moment. Our sincere prayers, our devotion and our faith in Allah, will make us better humans to serve this country with wisdom and truth.

May the blessings of Allah fill our life with happiness and open all the doors of success now and always. May Allah always guide us all throughout our journey in life. We wish this Ramadan will infuse us with courage that will help us be triumphant over the adversities of life. Aameen..

The True Status of Mothers

Mother's Day is an insult to all mothers. .. The following describes the true status of Mothers take heed...

Abdullah Ibn 'Umar saw a Yemeni man performing Tawâf (circumambulating the Ka'bah) while carrying his mother on his back. This man said to Abdullah Ibn 'Umar, "I am like a tame camel for her! I have carried her more than she carried me. Do you think I have paid her back, O Ibn 'Umar?" Abdullah Ibn 'Umar replied, "No, not even one contraction!!" [Al-Adab al-Mufrad Bukhârî 1/62]

SubhânAllah (Glory be to God)! The efforts of a man who carries his mother on his back while performing tawâf cannot even repay his mother for a single contraction that she went through for him. Wise indeed was Ibn 'Umar's reply to this man to show him how massively indebted he was to his mother. This is the tremendous value and prestigious position of mothers in Islam!

Yet another example is found in the following prophecy of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him):

There will come to you with reinforcements from Yemen a man called Uways ibn 'Âmir of the clan of Murâd from the tribe of Qaran. He had leprosy but has been cured of it except for a spot the size of a coin. He has a mother and he has always treated her with kindness and respect. If he prays to Allah, Allah will fulfill his wish. If you can ask him to pray for forgiveness for you, then do so. [Sahîh Muslim 16/95]

Indeed, later on 'Umar ibn al-Khattâb met Uways who was exactly as the Prophet described, and upon 'Umar's request Uways prayed for him. Commenting on this narration, Shaykh Muhammad Ali Al-Hashimî writes:

What a high status Uways reached by virtue of his kindness and respect towards his mother, so that the Prophet recommended his Sahabah [companions] to seek him out and ask him to pray for them!

All of this indicates the high status to which Islam has raised the position of motherhood, and given the mother precedence over the father. At the same time, Islam has given importance to both parents, and has enjoined kindness and respect to both. (Al-Hashimi, The Ideal Muslimah, IIPH 2005, p. 167)

Such is the true status of Mothers. ..

The People of the Scriptures Deserve the Worst Torment on the Day of Resurrection

"Say (O Muhammad  to the people of the Scripture): "Shall I inform you of something worse than that, regarding the recompense from Allah: those (Jews) who incurred the Curse of Allah and His Wrath, those of whom (some) He transformed into monkeys and swines, those who worshipped Taghut (false deities); such are worse in rank (on the Day of Resurrection in the Hell-fire), and far more astray from the Right Path (in the life of this world)."" (Qur'an 5 : 60)

(Say: "Shall I inform you of something worse than that, regarding the recompense from Allah") The Ayah commands the Prophet to say: Shall I inform you about a worse people with Allah on the Day of Resurrection than what you think of us They are you, with these characteristics,

(those who incurred the curse of Allah) were expelled from His mercy,

(and who incurred His wrath) and anger, after which He will never be pleased with them

(those of whom He transformed into monkeys and swine,) as we mentioned in Surat Al-Baqarah (2) and as we will mention in Surat Al-A`raf (7).

This alludes to the Jews whose history shows that they were subjected, over and over again, to the wrath and scourge of Allah. When they desecrated the law of the Sabbath the faces of many of them were distorted, and subsequently their degeneration reached such a low point that they took to worshipping Satan quite openly. The purpose of saying all this is to draw attention to their criminal boldness while they had sunk to the lowest level of evil, transgression and moral decadence, they vigorously opposed all those who, thanks to their faith, lived a truly pious and righteous life.

Sufyan Ath-Thawri narrated that Ibn Mas`ud said, "Allah's Messenger was asked if the current monkeys and swine were those whom Allah transformed. He said,

(Allah never destroyed a people by transforming them and making offspring or descendants for them. The monkeys and swine existed before that.)'' This was also recorded by Muslim. Allah said,

(Those who worshipped Taghut...) and served them, becoming their servants. The meaning of this Ayah is: you, O People of the Scriptures, who mock our religion, which consists of Allah's Tawhid, and singling Him out in worship without others, how can you mock us while these are your characteristics This is why Allah said,

(such are worse in rank...) than what you -- People of the Scriptures -- think of us Muslims,

(and far more astray from the straight path.) `More' in the Ayah does not mean that the other party is `less' astray, but it means that the People of the Scriptures are far astray. In another Ayah, Allah said,

(The dwellers of Paradise will, on that Day, have the best abode, and have the fairest of places for repose.)

Lecture Series : " From Darkness Into Light ”.

Bismillah wa -Alhamdulillah wa Salaatu wa Salaam 'alaa Rasulillah 'amma ba'd

Muwahhideen Publications and Islam.tt in conjunction with several Masaajid throughout Trinidad are pleased to present a six-day lecture series with Abu ‘Abdur Rahmaan ‘Ali al-Filistinee entitled, “From Darkness Into Light”. Allah says in the Qur’aan,“It is He Who sends down manifest Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to His slave (Muhammad sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) that He may bring you out from darkness into light. And verily, Allah is to you full of kindness, Most Merciful.” [Al-Hadid: 9]

Our brother (hafidhahullah) will lecture to us on a number of essential topics in the life of a Muslim and so remind us of our duty to our Lord (Subhaanah) and by the Permission of Allah, we will all benefit from these sittings of knowledge. As the Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said,"Verily! The world is accursed and what it contains is accursed, except remembrance of Allah and those who associate themselves with Allah; and a learned man, and a learning person.''Thus, we encourage our brothers and sisters in Islaam to make an effort to attend.

Our Christian Brothers...

Our Christian brothers should know as a fact that while both Muslims and Christians believe Jesus to be the Messiah and Savior, the Zionist Jews of the world deny him and are still awaiting their savior... A great question you should ask yourself is this... In the modern day Bible, who murdered Jesus? The corrupted Jews and Romans. Who later spread the religion of Jesus? The corrupt Jews and the Romans. How can you trust the murderers of Jesus, with the very same message they murdered him for in the first place? Obviously politics had to of infiltrated the book and religion of Jesus. And who's been ruling the world ever since? The Jews and the Holy Roman Empire, "The Vatican"! I am not being anti-christian; I am fighting those who have hijacked this great faith and used the story of its Prophet, for their own gain. Only the truth can set you free!
