This is the Mantra that seems to be following Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley around since Wednesday night while addressing a People’s National Movement political meeting in Barataria, where he made statements referring to raids on mosques over the Carnival period saying they were justified after “lethal weapons, arms and ammunition” were found at the Masjid-ul-Muttaqeen Mosque in Cunupia on Thursday.

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) is advocating the weapons and ammunition was placed there by law enforcement officers or a person or persons acing in collusion with law enforcement. Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) has received intelligence that the police had earlier received instructions to execute a search warrant at the very same Masjid later on that day - what a remarkable concurrence of events! - As was stated in our last release, "It is only by the mercy of Allah that those weapons were found by members of the Masjid and not a planned raid executed by the police." or else we would have been having a different conversation today.

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) holds the view that Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley is unaware of his role and function as Prime Minister and is oblivious to what is happening within his government. If the Prime Minister is so keen on finding justification, he needs to answer:

Why was the sovereignty of our Twin Island State compromised when after the Jordanian authorities uncovered information of a plot to disrupt our carnival, why was the information was sent to the United States and not to us?

Why did United States after receiving this information did not issue a travel advisory but only did so long after our authorities made mention of it?

Why was the safety of the American citizens compromised and not warned before they traveled here to enjoy the carnival celebrations?

Were the US spy planes truly spying on our nationals or where they spying on Venezuela in response to the news of the Brazilian authorities warning Guyana of an imminent attack by Venezuela, hence the presence of Russian spy ships on our shores - Venezuela remains one of Russia's most important trading and military allies in Latin America (after Brazil).

State the true reasons why Umar Abdullah was not invited to the Diplomatic Center when he (The Prime Minister) met with the Muslim Community?

Only when Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley can provide answers to these questions, would Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) entertain his "justification" theory. Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) is dismissing Claims by the police
that they received intelligence that members of the Central-based gang Unruly ISIS were in Port of Spain preparing for a war with the Rasta City gang over the recent murders of men affiliated with Unruly ISIS. We have made it absolutely clear in a press conference of April 2017 that there is no such gang existing. That name was coined by the police to form an association with the group ISIL from Syria and Iraq. Now the police is somewhat linking the discovery of five weapons in the ceiling at a Masjid in Central Trinidad to this war. The weapons was found by members of the Masjid doing cleaning preparations for the Eid celebrations, who then alerted the police.

Before the Anti-Gang Bill became law the Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi already had made claims, the existence of Muslim gangs in Trinidad. In April of 2018 a news story by Sean Douglas of the Newsday reported; in an interjection in Senate debate on the Anti-Gang Bill, April 4th 2018, Faris Al-Rawi said gang recruitment is taking place at the nation’s schools and places of worship, which definition he said included mosques and associated schools known as madrassas. This build up, together with yesterday's claim by Senior officers of the Port of Spain Division confirming that members of the Chaguanas-based gang, Unruly ISIS are in Port of Spain to exact revenge on members of their rivals, Rasta City after a series of killings in East Port of Spain, Beetham and Laventille and that members of the gang were awaiting the passing of Eid celebrations to resume a war with Rasta City gangs, all points in the direction of a covert Anti-Gang operation targeting Muslims.

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) recalls a report by TV6's Rynessa Cutting in November of 2017 where Attorney General, Faris Al-Rawi confirmed the existence of 2,459 gang members in Trinidad and Tobago, indicating also that government has their names and locations. Why then, now that the Anti-Gang Bill has been made law, there is still no arrest of these known gang members?

It is only by the mercy of Allah that those weapons were found by members of the Masjid and not a planned raid executed by the police. The police would now have to come up with a different strategy which would again come to zero. Allah says in Quran, “They plan, and Allah plans. Within days of Katrina's August 29, 2005, landfall, public debate arose about the local, state and federal governments' role in the preparations for and response to the storm. Criticism was prompted largely by televised images of visibly shaken and frustrated political leaders, and of residents who remained in New Orleans without water, food or shelter, and the deaths of several citizens by thirst, exhaustion, and violence days after the storm itself had passed. The

treatment of people who had evacuated to registered facilities such as the Superdome was also criticized.


Haiti January 12 2010 saw a completely different response. Within hours the United States Coast Guard deployed helicopters and several aircraft and cutters to the region to aid in relief work and perform reconnaissance flights over Haiti, which aided in assessing the worst


damaged areas, The Coast Guard Cutter Forward arrived in the waters off Port-au-Prince at about 8 a.m. on Wednesday, and together with a Maritime Intelligence Support Team, was able to assess some of the damage caused to the port. The Coast Guard Cutter Mohawk also arrived in the coastal waters of Haiti on Wednesday afternoon. The International Committee of the Red Cross had set up a special website to facilitate family contacts, which allowed people in Haiti and abroad to register the names of relatives whom they wanted to contact. It incorporated responses to those queries as they became available, Catholic Relief Services, which has worked in Haiti for 50 years, prepared food and other aid to help those affected, committing US $5 million to help survivors. It was as though they were expecting such a disaster. They were all prepared... there was nothing to it.


Let me now bring to your attention an article on climate manipulation published in 1999, focusing specifically on the incidence of earthquakes.

Weather modification technology has been perfected under the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) which was part of the ("Star Wars") Strategic Defence Initiative (SDI). Recent scientific evidence suggests that HAARP is fully operational and has the ability of potentially triggering floods, droughts, hurricanes and earthquakes. From a military standpoint, HAARP is a weapon of mass destruction.

Two devastating earthquakes in the month of September 1999 again focused the world’s attention on one of nature’s most terrifying and destructive forces. Earthquakes in Turkey and Taiwan took the lives of thousands and left even more people homeless and in fear of returning to their devastated communities.


The death and devastation caused by major earthquakes around the world can only worsen in years to come, as growing urban development and unprecedented population growth compound the lethal effects of natural and, as some researchers claim, man-made seismic hazards. With the world’s population already over 6 billion, there are fewer unpopulated places for quakes to strike. And with ever more people to accommodate, there is more multi-storied construction in vulnerable fault zones. As a result, destructive earthquakes “are the wave of the future,” seismic expert Kerry Sieh of the California Institute of Technology says. “There are 40 cities of a million or more people within 100 kilometres of a major plate boundary, and all those are good candidates for a large event.” (Los Angeles Times, 21 September 1999)


The devastating tsunami created December 26, 2004 by a magnitude 9.0 earthquake that killed more than 300,000 people on the shores of the Indian Ocean caught the world off guard. It was the largest earthquake since the 9.2 magnitude Good Friday Earthquake off Alaska in 1964, and ties for fourth largest since 1900.


The earthquake that struck the Indonesian island of Sumatra occurred in a location geologists know is susceptible to powerful earthquakes. The quake occurred along a “subduction zone,” in which the Indian tectonic plate is being subducted, or pulled beneath, the Burma tectonic platelet. The overlying plate jumped upward more than 4.5 metres, lifting the water above it and setting off the tsunami.


For some, the finger of blame doesn’t point squarely at nature but at top secret military testing in the waters of the Indian Ocean.


The Egyptian weekly magazine Al-Osboa claimed the earthquake that triggered the tsunami “was possibly” caused by an Indian nuclear experiment in which “Israeli and American nuclear experts participated”.


An Australian researcher, Joe Vialls, (www.vialls.com) in his article “Did New York Orchestrate the Asian Tsunami?” analyses how easy it would be to deliver “a multi-megaton thermonuclear weapon to the bottom of the Sumatran Trench, and then detonate it with awesome effect.”


Days after the disaster, Canadian Professor Michel Chossudovsky wrote an article titled “Foreknowledge of a Natural Disaster: Washington was aware that a deadly Tidal Wave was building up in the Indian Ocean”  (www.globalresearch.ca/articles/CHO412C.html) He noted “the US Navy was fully aware of the deadly tidal wave, because the Navy was on the Pacific Warning Centre’s list of contacts. Moreover, America’s strategic naval base on the island of Diego Garcia had also been notified. Although directly in the path of the tidal wave, the Diego Garcia military base reported ‘no damage’.”


“With modern communications, the information of an impending disaster could have been sent around the world in a matter of minutes, by email, by telephone, by fax, not to mention by live satellite television,” he adds.


Others see the catastrophe as a ‘sign of the times’ in which we live, and a portent of what is to come as the Earth and humanity experience even more changes as part of the end of a world cycle.


What Are Earthquakes?


Natural earthquakes are caused by the movement of tectonic plates over the Earth’s mantle. Sandwiched between Earth’s crust and molten outer core, the vast mantle accounts for 83 percent of the planet’s volume. It is filled with solid rock but, heated by the core and by its own


radioactive decay; it circulates like a pot of impenetrable soup. That circulation is the driving force behind the surface motion of tectonic plates, which builds mountains and causes earthquakes.


The destructive power of an earthquake comes from the momentum gathered when two opposing “faults” or tectonic plates, which may have been locked together for decades, suddenly move apart. The result is that solid rock which normally moves only with the passing of geological ages accelerates briefly to 5,000mph, unleashing huge quantities of energy and creating a shaking movement of up to a metre a second.


Most people consider earthquakes to be natural in origin, but what if there was such a thing as man-made earthquakes? Well, there are. There is the official version of what constitutes a man-made earthquake, and then there is a body of suppressed research pointing to a more insidious agenda.


Artificially-Induced Earthquakes


Officially, there is such an area of research devoted to man-made earthquakes. Geologists and seismologists agree that humans can induce earthquakes in five major ways: fluid injection into the Earth, fluid extraction from the Earth, mining or quarrying, nuclear testing and through the construction of dams and reservoirs.


In fact, there are officially recorded instances of earthquakes caused by human activity.


Geologists discovered that disposal of waste fluids by means of injecting them deep into the earth could trigger earthquakes after a series of earthquakes in the Denver area occurred from 1962-1965; the periods and amounts of injected waste coincided with the frequency and magnitude of earthquakes in the Denver area. The earthquakes were triggered because the liquid, which was injected under very high pressure, released stored strain energy in the rocks. In 2004, best-selling thriller author Ken Follett released his latest book, Hammer of Eden, about a terrorist group threatening to level San Francisco with a man-made earthquake. When asked by Salon Magazine how real is the idea of a man-made earthquake? Follett replied that “Some of the seismologists told me, ‘There’s no way this could happen.’ But others gave sad little shrugs and said, ‘It’s hard to say. Who knows? May-be. It’s within the realm of possibly.”


Suppressed Research: Tesla Technologies


Born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, Nicola Tesla is one of this century’s greatest scientists. A inventor of electronic devices and pioneer of free energy, Tesla never gained the recognition he deserved because his scientific breakthroughs were deemed to ‘sensitive’ by the ruling corporate and government powers of the day. Thus much of his research was suppressed and stolen.


In a book entitled Tesla – The Lost Inventions, a section is titled “Man-Made Earthquake”. It discloses Tesla’s fascination with the power of resonance and he experimented with it not only electrically but on the mechanical plane as well. In his Manhattan, USA lab, Tesla built mechanical vibrators and tested their powers. One experiment got out of hand.


Tesla attached a powerful little vibrator driven by compressed air to a steel pillar. Leaving it there, he went about his business. Meanwhile, down the street, a violent quaking built up, shaking down plaster, bursting plumbing, cracking windows, and breaking heavy machinery off its anchorages.


Tesla’s vibrator had found the resonant frequency of a deep sandy layer of subsoil beneath his building, setting off a small earthquake. Soon Tesla’s own building began to quake. It is reported that just as the police broke into his lab, Tesla was seen smashing the device with a sledge hammer, the only way he could promptly stop it.


In a similar experiment, on an evening walk through the city, Tesla attached a battery powered vibrator, described as being the size of an alarm clock, to the steel framework of a building under construction. He adjusted it to a suitable frequency and set the structure into resonant vibration.


The structure shook, and so did the earth under his feet. Tesla later boasted he could shake down the Empire State Building with such a device. If this claim was not extravagant enough, he went on to say a large-scale resonant vibration was capable of splitting the earth in half.


An article from the 11 July, 1935 issue of the New York American entitled ‘Tesla’s Controlled Earthquakes’, stated Tesla’s “experiments in transmitting mechanical vibrations through the earth – called by him ‘the art of telegeodynamics’ – were roughly described by the scientists as a sort of controlled earthquake.”


The article quotes Tesla as stating:


The rhythmical vibrations pass through the earth with almost no loss of energy. It becomes possible to convey mechanical effects to the greatest terrestrial distances and produce all kinds of unique effects. The invention could be used with destructive effect in war…


Mysterious Lights


Several UFO researchers speculate many UFO sightings might actually be “earthquake lights” caused by ‘piezoelectric’ phenomena. Piezoelectricity is believed to be caused by crystals found in certain rocks giving off a flow of electricity when subjected to high pressure, as in an earthquake. Lights leaping away from mountain peaks have been seen and recorded since ancient times.


Reports coming out of Turkey’s devastating earthquake mention mysterious lights over the west of the country. The following intriguing eyewitness report was forwarded to Mutual UFO Network Eastern USA from Turkey:


They were incredibly clear, circular or triangular in shape, white, yellow, red and blue coloured; remain visible in the sky for 5 to 20 minutes, following a materialising-dematerialising pattern. The funny thing is it became a routine thing as they have been showing up two or three times a week. They became an inevitable component of the TV news and media. Furthermore, just before the quake, the bottom of the sea in Izmit went red and the sea temperature went up to 40-45 degrees C. However, there are no underwater volcanoes in the Sea of Marmara! Starting two days before the quake, hundreds of fish, crabs and other sea life forms died and not naturally! Somehow, they were burned! The fish nets of the fishermen were burned and we have several rock and stone samples from the sea, which went black in colour. TUVPO (Turkish UFO and Paranormal Organisation) had cooperating with the Smithsonian Institute and a few universities in the US. Some rock and burned fishnet samples were sent upon request. Folks at TUVPO have hopefully run a spectrum analysis on the video tapes. Some fishermen are also saying that they witnessed an explosion under the sea. Compare this information with what happened in the destructive 1977 earthquake that hit China. The 5 June, 1977 New York Times described the great earthquake which destroyed Tangshan, China on July 28, 1976, killing over 650,000 people:


Just before the first tremor at 3:42 am, the sky lit up like daylight. The multi-hued lights, mainly white and red, were seen up to 200 miles away. Leaves on many trees were burned to a crisp and growing vegetables were scorched on one side, as if by a fireball.


Tesla Effect


Some investigators believe these electrical effects were associated with electromagnetic plasma and ball lightning and the strange array of flashes that result from Tesla-style technology. Was this brilliant flash of coloured light what Tesla talked about in 1935 when he mentioned “all kinds of unique effects”? Was this earthquake an early test of the system, conducted on the unsuspecting people of China? It certainly does not appear it was a natural earthquake. Was the same technology tried out on Turkey?


Andrija Puharich, MD, LL.D. in January 1978, issued a detailed research paper titled, “Global Magnetic Warfare – A Layman’s View of Certain Artificially Induced Unusual Effects on the Planet Earth During 1976 and 1977”. He was primarily looking into Soviet experiments with Tesla technology and believed controlled earthquakes were part and parcel of that work. Of them he wrote: “Of the many great earthquakes of 1976, there is one that demands special attention – the July 28, 1976 Tangshan, China earthquake.”


The January 1978 edition of Specula magazine ran an article describing an incredibly profound phenomenon that could be produced within the Earth by what is called the ‘Tesla Effect.’ According to the article, electromagnetic signals of certain frequencies can be transmitted


through the Earth to form standing waves in the Earth itself. In certain cases, coherence to this standing wave can be induced wherein a fraction of the vast, surging electromagnetic current of the Earth itself feeds into and augments the induced standing wave. In other words, “much more energy is now present in the standing wave than the ...amount being fed in from the Earth’s surface.” By interferometer techniques, giant standing waves can be combined to produce a focused beam of very great energy. This can then be used to produce earthquakes induced at distant aiming points.


Tesla expressed grave concerns about the effects of this technology because it is exactly the type of thing that could easily get out of control once it begins vibrating within the Earth – and it could actually cause the Earth to vibrate to pieces. Could the use of this technique have been responsible for the great earthquake in Tangshan, China in 1976? Or Haiti in 2010?


Another leading Tesla researcher and nuclear engineer, Lt. Col. Thomas Bearden, lecturing at a Symposium of the US Psychotronics Association (USPA) in 1981 stated:


Tesla found that he could set up standing waves… in the earth (the molten core), or, just set it up through the rocks – the telluric activity in the rocks would furnish activity into these waves and one would get more potential energy in those waves than he put in. He called the concept the Tesla Magnifying Transmitter (TMT).


Bearden goes on to explain how TMTs worked:


They will go through anything. What you do is that you set up a standing wave through the earth and the molten core of the earth begins to feed that wave (we are talking Tesla now). When you have that standing wave, you have set up a triode. What you’ve done is that the molten core of the earth is feeding the energy and it’s like your signal – that you are putting in – is gating the grid of a triode… Then what you do is that you change the frequency. If you change the frequency one way (starts to diphase it), you dump the energy up in the atmosphere beyond the point on the other side of the earth that you focused upon. You start ionising the air, you can change the weather flow patterns (jet streams etc) – you can change all that – if you dump it gradually, real gradually – you influence the heck out of the weather. It’s a great weather machine. If you dump it sharply, you don’t get little ionisation like that. You will get flashes and fireballs (plasma) that will come down on the surfaces of the earth… you can cause enormous weather changes over entire regions by playing that thing back and forth.


HAARP: The Pentagon’s Ultimate Weapon


In an Arctic compound 450 kilometres east of Anchorage, Alaska, the Pentagon has erected a powerful transmitter designed to beam more than a gig watt of energy into the upper reaches of the atmosphere. Known as Project HAARP (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program), the $30 million experiment involves the world’s largest “ionospheric heater,” a prototype device designed to zap the skies hundreds of kilometres above the earth with high-frequency radio waves.

Why expose the charged particles of the ionosphere with such levels of high-frequency radio waves (which when energised by natural processes make up the lovely and famous phenomenon known as the Northern Lights)? According to the US Navy and Air Force, co-sponsors of the project, “to observe the complex natural variations of Alaska’s ionosphere.” As well, admit the Pentagon, to develop new forms of communications and surveillance technologies to enable the military to send signals to nuclear submarines and to peer deep underground.


Ever since the existence of HAARP became public, a number of independent researchers have warned the operation has a secret agenda including weather modification, mind control, hi-tech military experiments, and the triggering of earthquakes. Alarmingly, HAARP technology appears well suited to enforce a host of the oppressive goals and agendas of the New World Order.


HAARP transmissions may also be used for the detection and monitoring of electromagnetic or “plasma” phenomena, precursors of seismic activity and tectonic movement. Researchers believe HAARP transmissions are actually being used to activate or trigger exactly the same electromagnetic conditions that can cause tectonic movement.


Jerry Smith in his book HAARP: The Ultimate Weapon of the Conspiracy warns many atmospheric scientists working on the secretive military project might be unaware of HAARP’s grave potential to wreak havoc on the earth. He writes:


If HAARP is a TMT [Tesla Magnifying Transmitter], and these researchers correctly understand Tesla’s work, we could be in a lot of trouble. It is quite possible that the scientists working on HAARP do not know that they are playing with… Beyond that their ignorance might be compounded if HAARP is indeed a secretive black-ops military project. The military has devised a way of keeping secrets called ‘compartmentalisation’ where each unit knows only what it needs to know… Only the control group knows what’s going on… If there is a control group familiar with TMTs directing the actions of scientists unschooled in Tesla technology, those lower level operatives could be directed to wreak havoc with created weather or manufactured earthquakes….


Vast Amounts of Energy


In 1966, Professor Gordon J. F. MacDonald was associate director of the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics at the University of California, Los Angeles, a member of the US President’s Science Advisory Committee, and later a member of the US President’s Council on Environmental Quality.


He published papers on the use of environmental-control technologies for military purposes. MacDonald made a revealing comment: “The key to geophysical warfare is the identification of environmental instabilities to which the addition of a small amount of energy would release vastly greater amounts of energy. “


World-renowned scientist MacDonald developed ideas for using the environment as a weapon system and he contributed to what was, at the time, only in the wildest dream of a futurist. When he wrote his chapter, “How to Wreck the Environment,” for the book Unless Peace Comes, he was not kidding around. In it he describes the use of weather manipulation, climate modification, polar ice cap melting or destabilisation, ozone depletion techniques, earthquake engineering, ocean wave control and brain wave manipulation using the planet’s energy fields. He speculated these types of weapons would be developed and, when used, would be virtually undetectable by their victims. Is HAARP one such weapon?


In her book Planet Earth: the Latest Weapon of War, renowned scientist and nuclear activist Dr. Rosalie Bertell says such electromagnetic weapons “have the ability to transmit explosive and other effects such as earthquake induction across intercontinental distances to any selected target site on the globe with force levels equivalent to major nuclear explosions.”


Her book explains that pulsed, extremely low frequency (ELF) waves can be used to convey mechanical effects and vibrations at great distances through the Earth. Such manipulation of the Earth, she states, “has the capability to cause disturbance of volcanoes and tectonic plates, which in turn, have an effect on the weather,” creating storms and torrential rains over an area. Anyone notice the world’s weather has been very strange in recent months?


Beaching and Seismic Tests:


On November 28, 2004, Reuters reported that during a three day span, 169 whales and dolphins beached themselves in Tasmania, an island off the southern coast of mainland Australia. The cause for these beaching is not known, but Bob Brown, a senator in the Australian parliament, said “sound bombing” or seismic tests of ocean floors to test for oil and gas had been recently carried out near the sites of the Tasmanian beaching.


According to Jim Cummings of the Acoustic Ecology Institute, seismic surveys utilising airguns have been taking place in mineral-rich areas of the world’s oceans since 1968. Among the areas that have experienced the most intense survey activity are the North Sea, the Beaufort Sea (off Alaska’s North Slope), and the Gulf of Mexico; areas around Australia and South America are also current hotspots of activity.


The impulses created by the release of air from arrays of up to 24 airguns create low frequency sound waves powerful enough to penetrate up to 40km below the seafloor. The “source level” of these sound waves is generally over 200dB (and often 230dB or more), roughly comparable to a sound of at least 140-170dB in air.

According to the Australian Conservation Foundation, these 200dB – 230dB shots from the airguns are fired every 10 seconds or so, from 10 metres below the surface, 24 hours a day, for 2 week periods of time, weather permitting. These types of tests are known to affect whales and dolphins, whose acute hearing and use of sonar is very sensitive.


On December 24, 2004 there was a magnitude 8.1 earthquake more than 800 kilometres southeast of Tasmania near New Zealand, with a subsequent aftershock 6.1 a little later in the morning that same day.


Then on December 26 the magnitude 9.0 earthquake struck leading to the devastating tsunami that killed more than 300,000 people.


On December 27, 20 whales beached themselves 180 kilometres west of Hobart on the southern island state of Tasmania.


Interestingly, the locations of the whale beaching over the previous 30 days correlates with the same general area struck by the 8.1 Australian earthquake. The seismic testing also took place in the same area. Then two days after the Australian tectonic plate shifted, the 9.0 earthquake shook the coast of Indonesia.


There is strong evidence suggesting oil exploration activities have induced earthquakes in the past, although a link is yet to be established in this case.


A paper “Seismicity in the Oil Field” by Russian academics admits, “Scientists have observed that earthquakes can be triggered by human action…. Some geophysicists, including the authors of this article, believe that if the natural tectonic regime had been taken into account during the planning of hydrocarbon recovery, the earthquakes might have been avoided.”


This is a sobering admission when we consider that some geologists say the Australian quake was the likely trigger for the Indonesian quake.


Cohen’s Admission


In 1997 the US Secretary of Defence, William Cohen, delivered a speech on terrorism at the University of Georgia. Reuters quoted him as saying, “Precautions against unconventional arms must be intensified as potential terrorists develop chemical and biological weapons and electromagnetic methods that could create holes in the ozone layer or trigger earthquakes or volcanoes.”


Cohen’s admission reveals he has direct knowledge of such potential weapons. But it’s hard to conceive of “terrorists developing the capacity to “trigger earthquakes”. Hardly, when one considers the Pentagon’s HAARP project. A more likely explanation is that Cohen was warning against allowing such technology to spread to other countries.


Outback Mystery


The weapons used in World War III will make the atomic and hydrogen bombs look like toys. At present, the centerpiece of the Russian arsenal is called the star-reflector cannon. The United States has the Strategic Defence Initiative, and the extension of this is ‘micro plasma.’ — Shoko Asahara, 19 April, 1993, leader of Aum Shinrikyo


A mysterious incident in the outback of Western Australia, reported in New Dawn No. 41 (March-April 1997), directly relates to the subject of man-made earthquakes.

Late on the evening of May 28, 1993, something radiated shock waves outward across hundreds of miles of scrub and desert. Around the same time, truck drivers crossing the region and gold prospectors camping nearby saw the dark sky illuminated by bright flashes, and they as well as other people heard the distant rumble of loud explosions.


The mysterious event might have been lost to history except for the interest of investigators in Australia and the United States, who eventually came to speculate if the upheaval was the work of the Japanese Aum Shinrikyo group accused of the poison-gas attack on Tokyo subways in 1995. At the time Aum had set up an advanced laboratory on a 500,000-acre property near the puzzling upheaval.


The disturbance shook the earth on May 28, 1993, but it was not until after the Tokyo attack of March 1995, that an Australian geologist, Harry Mason, brought the seismic upset to the attention of Australian Federal Police and later to US investigators.


Seismic observatories in Australia tracked the event to location 28.47 degrees south latitude, 121.73 degrees east longitude, a remote area near the group’s property.

Mason’s 19-page report summarised interviews he had conducted with people who were in the remote area on that clear moonless night. They saw the sky ablaze, heard loud explosions and felt the ground shake, in one case knocking beer cans off a table. Mason noted that earthquakes were very rare in the region and that mining explosions were illegal at night.


Mason now believed the explosion was caused by “a very advanced electromagnetic weapons system.” He also thinks that the red dome witnessed on the night of 28 May, 1993 was a Tesla Shield, a device that theoretically can disable nuclear weapons


.Eventually, the US-based Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS) calculated the event was 170 times bigger than the largest mining explosion ever recorded in the Australian region, thus ruling out that possibility. The disturbance was calculated as having the force of a small nuclear explosion, perhaps equal to up to 2,000 tons of high explosives. But the signature of the disturbance seemed to be more that of an earthquake than a nuclear explosion.


No mention of the seismic riddle was made in well-publicised hearings the US Senator Nunn ran in late 1995 on Aum Shinrikyo. On 15 December, 1995, Nunn wrote to IRIS, stating that their scientific work helped Senate investigators “rule out certain terrorist activities.”


Still, one remote possibility remained. Aum Shinrikyo had apparently studied seismic warfare and the means of artificially triggering earthquakes.


The group apparently sent a party of its own top scientists to the former Yugoslavia to study the work of Nicola Tesla. At the Tesla Museum in Belgrade, the members reviewed Tesla’s thesis and other research papers discussing such weapons.

In New Dawn No. 39, a report on the work of Aum Shinrikyo Science and Technology Minister, Hideo Murai, revealed that the group was interested in advanced weapons, including “laser-powered seismic weapons.” On 7 April, 1995 Murai responded in a press conference to a question about a rumoured ‘earthquake machine’. He remarked there was a strong possibility the Kobe earthquake was activated using “electromagnetic power,” or that somebody used a device that “applied force inside the earth.”


Shortly after this press conference, a lone assassin stabbed Hideo Murai to death in full view of the Japanese media. Was Murai murdered to silence him? He was one of Aum’s most visible figures with fluent English and a pleasant demeanour that made him an international spokesman.


An Aum Shinrikyo book, Disaster Approaches the Land of the Rising Sun, devotes considerable space on how to guard against radiation, electromagnetic pulses, biological and chemical weapons, as well as more exotic laser, microwave and plasma weaponry.


It can be assumed the Aum Shinrikyo group actively researched and even possibly tested advanced weapons from a defensive point of view. Aum leaders were convinced the United States had already used such weapons against their personnel and property, and this may have driven the group’s leaders into a paranoid frame of mind.


Future War

Often we are told technological research in the military field is ten or more years ahead of what we see today. Frightening and controversial projects like HAARP, with applications ranging from


super beam weapon to worldwide mind control, should be of great concern to us all. And most worrying is mounting evidence that the US military now has the ability to create earthquakes – the ultimate weapon of war.


Could the recent earthquakes in Turkey, Taiwan, Greece, Mexico and Haiti be experimental test runs? If so, how many more earthquakes will it take before this technology can be directed at a chosen ‘enemy’? It’s a disturbing thought and one we all should consider as the forces of the New World Order gather pace in their quest for global control.


Haiti’s Dispensation


Was the earthquake of January 12 man-made or the result of natural forces? Saturday, 16 January 2010 08:44 Haiti handed the US control of its main airport to bring order in the skies to aid flights from around the world and speed relief efforts, the Obama administration has said. US State Department spokesman PJ Crowley said Haitian Prime Minister Jean-Max Belle rive signed a memorandum of understanding formally transferring operations at Toussaint L'Ouverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince. 'Obviously we will assume this responsibility as long as it's appropriate and to the point where the Haitian government is able and ready to resume that capability,' Mr Crowley said. It is absolutely clear from Mr. Crowley’s statement that the decision to hand over control of the airport back to the Haitian Government lies with the US. As a matter of fact it was the Americans who had asked that they take full control of the airport. Why would they really want to do this? Wouldn’t it have been politically safe for the Haitian Government to retain control and utilise such aid from the Americans as would bring ease and control? For all intent and purposes I see this as an attempt to control what comes in and what goes out? Or is it that the American administration has a different purpose for Haiti of which she knows nothing about? Whatever the intention one thing is certain never was Haiti more vulnerable than she is now.


Signs of the Times?


Whether or not the earthquake of January 12 was man-made or the result of natural forces? There are many who believe such events are part of a cyclic period of earth changes. Strange weather patterns, an increase in earthquake activity, and natural disasters across the planet, are anticipated at the end of major world cycles.


Christians often call attention to the Gospel account where Jesus says a sign of the end of the world age would be “earthquakes in diverse places” (Matthew 24:7). Many believe this verse refers to the times in which we live.


In traditional Hindu cosmology, we are now nearing the end of the Kali Yuga which is the final and most negative of four evolutionary cycles which are Satya Yuga (Golden Age), Treta Yuga (Silver Age), Dwapara Yuga (Bronze Age), and Kali Yuga (Iron Age).


Similarly, the ancient Greeks traced the lineage of mankind through five successive “ages” or “races” from the “Golden Age” to the present “Iron Age.”


The Visuddhimagga, a compendium of Theravada Buddhist philosophy, gives further details about the recurring cycles that destroy mankind and cleanse the Earth. The text relates there are 64 world destruction cycles in which the world perishes seven times by fire, and an eighth time by water. This cycle of eight destructions repeats itself seven times, and then at the end of the eighth cycle the final destruction is by wind rather than water. Then the cycle of 64 begins anew.


Islamic Prophetic traditions’ contends that "The Hour will not be established (1) till two big groups fight each other whereupon there will be a great number of casualties on both sides and they will be following one and the same religious doctrine, (2) till about thirty Dajjals (liars) appear, and each one of them will claim that he is Allah's Apostle, (3) till the religious knowledge is taken away (by the death of Religious scholars) (4) EARTHQUAKEs will increase in number (5) time will pass quickly, (6) afflictions will appear, (7) Al-Harj, (i.e., killing) will increase, (8) till wealth will be in abundance... so abundant that a wealthy person will worry lest nobody should accept his Zakat, and whenever he will present it to someone, that person (to whom it will be offered) will say, 'I am not in need of it, (9) till the people compete with one another in constructing high buildings, (10) till a man when passing by a grave of someone will say, 'Would that I were in his place (11) and till the sun rises from the West. So when the sun will rise and the people will see it (rising from the West) they will all believe (embrace Islam) but that will be the time when: (As Allah said,) 'No good will it do to a soul to believe then, if it believed not before, nor earned good (by deeds of righteousness) through its Faith.' (6.158) And the Hour will be established while two men spreading a garment in front of them but they will not be able to sell it, nor fold it up; and the Hour will be established when a man has milked his she-camel and has taken away the milk but he will not be able to drink it; and the Hour will be established before a man repairing a tank (for his livestock) is able to water (his animals) in it; and the Hour will be established when a person has raised a morsel (of food) to his mouth but will not be able to eat it."


Man’s most ancient traditions tell us these cycles reflect the creative process of the cosmos. The memories of a lost ‘Golden Age’, found in all earthly cultures, point to a time in the distant past when harmony and balance prevailed. This harmony is upset during the Iron Age, which is prophesied to end amid a proliferation of inverted spiritual values and rampant materialism, accompanied by devastating natural disturbances.


Act of man or act of nature, the past earthquake and tsunami may indeed be another ‘sign of the times’ signalling the last days of the present world order. We do well to recall the words of the gifted French esotericist Rene Guenon:


This end only appears to be the “end of the world,” without any reservation or specification of any kind, to those who see nothing beyond the limits of this particular cycle;… the end now under consideration is undeniably of considerably greater importance than many other, for it is the end of a whole Manvantara [world age]… this end will itself immediately become the beginning of another Manvantara... if one does not stop short of the most profound order of reality, it can be said in all truth the “end of a world” never is and never can be anything but the end of an illusion.

SISTERS' ROLE IN JIHAD

Allah, The Exalted, has stated in the Qur'an:
"And the Believers, men and women, are supporters one of another; they enjoin the right and forbid the wrong (munkar), and they establish worship, and pay the poor-due, and they obey Allah and His messenger. As for these, Allah will have mercy on them. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise." [Quran 9:71]

The Prophet (peace be upon him) is reported to have said:
"Anybody amongst you who notices a 'munkar' ( a violation of Allah's command), should correct it with his own hands, and if he is unable to do so, he should prohibit the same with his tongue; if he is unable even to do this, he should at least consider it as bad in his heart; this is the lowest degree of faith." [Muslim].

It follows from the hadith that correcting a violation of Allah's Command by hand is the best way. Now let us ask ourselves: What is the greatest violation of Allah's Command? The answer is simple according to the Qur'an: Disbelief in Allah and/or Associating others with Allah. And what is the best method of putting a
check on this violation by hand? The answer, again, is clear: Jihad fi sabeelillah (fighting in the path of Allah). Numerous verses of the Qur'an and many traditions from the Prophet (peace be upon him) make this point clear beyond any doubt.

Thus, it follows that women and men are supporters of one another in the important obligation of Jihad in accordance with the spirit of the Qur'an and Prophetic traditions. And when Jihad is Fard 'Ayn (an individual obligation like praying and fasting - where one person's engaging in it does not lift the responsibility from all others), as it is at the present time due to the domination of the enemy on several Muslim lands, the obligation to participate in Jihad is upon both Muslim men and women.

Nowhere have scholars stated that only men are required to engage in Jihad and that women are not required to participate. In fact, books of fiqh have clearly included women and have also mentioned the regulations, for instance, that when Jihad is Fard 'Ayn, a woman does not need her husband's, father's, or waliy's (guardian's) permission to engage in the works of Jihad, just like she does not need her husband's or father's permission to offer her daily prayers or fast in Ramadan or pay Zakah (Note that travelling to a distant location for Jihad may have additional regulations found in books of fiqh).

The question here is not whether women's participation in Jihad these days is an obligation or not, but rather, how can Muslim women participate in this noble cause and prevent themselves from falling into the sin of abandoning Jihad.

There are many ways a Muslim woman can participate in Jihad, both by accompanying the Mujahideen to the battlefield, and by staying behind:

1. Participation in the Actual Fighting
While Jihad (or Qital) is generally waged by men, there is clear evidence of women's participation in Jihad - both during the times of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and throughout Islamic history, up until this day. While all the examples are too numerous to include in this short section, a few examples are briefly mentioned below:

Nusayba bint Ka'b, also known as Umm 'Ammarah, mother of Shuhadaa, and wife of a brave Sahabi, she participated in physical fighting more than once in her lifetime, got severely injured in one instance (Uhud), and lost an arm in another (battle against Musaylama Kaddhab). The most famous of her participation is that of the battle of Uhud, where, in the midst of the confusion among the Muslim army, she was amongst those very few who were close to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and who were shielding the Prophet (peace be upon him) with their own bodies. The Prophet (peace be upon him) remarked after this battle: "When I looked
to my right I saw Umm Ammarah, and when I looked to my left, I saw Umm Ammarah". After the battle, the Prophet (peace be upon him) inquired about her injuries and asked her what she desired. She replied that she wanted the company of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in Paradise - and her request was accepted by the Prophet (peace be upon him). What more can anyone desire? She attained the greatest of blessings through her participation in Qital (fighting in the path of Allah).

And then we have the wife of the great Muslim hero Mahmud Qutus, who was a trained Mujahidah (female of 'Mujahid' - fighter for the sake of Allah), and was martyred while fighting against the barbaric Mongol army. Allah , The Most High, bestowed a magnificent victory to the Muslims against the Tatars (Mongols) in
that battle through the sacrifices of such great women among many others.

And coming to this very day and age, we have our beloved sister, Shaheedah Hawaa' Barayev, who was martyred recently in Chechnya during a solo Martyrdom Operation in which 27 Russians were killed and numerous others injured.

It should be noted that physical fighting has been a role assigned primarily to men, both by the Prophet (peace be upon him) and those after him. However, when the need arose, our brave sisters never held back from fighting, and neither should they now!

A note for sisters wanting to participate in fighting these days:
By the Grace of Allah, The Most High, the situation in the Ummah is not that desperate yet, that sisters are called to fight. Those sisters who voluntarily want to join the fighting for reward from Allah, are advised to not go unless the leader of Jihad in that place calls sisters to fight. As for other help, they can go if the
Mujahideen are able to accommodate and protect them. However, sisters should definitely be prepared!

2. Supporting the Fighters in the Battlefield
There are several ways in which Muslim sisters can support the Mujahideen on the battlefield directly. These would vary in accordance with the nature of the fighting. In general, these include, among others: Medical Support - Tending to the wounded mujahideen was a role assigned to the Sahabiyyat (female companions of the Prophet) during the times of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Among the women who participated as such were Aaishah, the Prophet's wife, and Fatima, his daughter among others. In Chechnya itself, while Muslim women cannot travel with the Mujahideen, we see sisters working as nurses managing the meagre health resources available for the Mujahideen. May Allah , The Most High, reward their participation.

Providing Food and Water to the Mujahideen - This was another duty assigned to the Sahabiyyat, who carried caskets of water along with their first-aid kits and quenched the thirst of the Mujahideen during the heat of the battle. These days, this can be considered somewhat analogous to providing food and drink to the Mujahideen and tending to their other needs while they are engaged in fighting. Such a role was assigned to sisters in at least some cases in the Afghanistan Jihad in the 1980's.

Providing Weapons and Ammunition - This is another area where sisters can help. One sister in her 50s from the UK carried weapons and ammunition for the Bosnian Muslims over mountains as she knew the enemy would not suspect her.

Encouraging the Mujahideen to Remain Steadfast - Most notable in this aspect was the Prophet (peace be upon him)'s aunt, the sister of Sayyid-ush-Shuhadaa' (The Master of the Martyrs) Hamza, the mother of Zubair bin 'Awwam (another great sahabi) - Safiyyah bint Abdul Muttalib. When she got ready to participate in the battle of Uhud, she carried a spear (or dagger) with her. The companions informed the Prophet (peace be upon him) of this, and he asked her what she would do with it. She said she will remain at the back of the
army and use it to strike those Muslims who dared to escape from the battle --and this role she played very well. Hind bint 'Utbah, after she embraced Islam, was also known to accompany the Mujahideen to battles and encourage them to fight and remain steadfast for Allah , The Most High, .

3. Guard Duty and Protection
Safiyyah bint Abdul Muttalib was among the women who had conducted such duty during the battle of the Trench (Ahzab or Khandaq), when the Muslim army had to be protected from the rear. The danger there was from the Jewish tribes who were known for their enmity and treachery against Muslims. She was stationed in
a tent with other women and one ill sahabi (Hassan bin Thabit). She noticed an enemy spy approaching, and asked Hassan to kill him. Hassan expressed his inability to do so on account of his sickness. She then tracked the enemy, came behind him, and struck and killed him with a pole of the tent.

Another brave sister, a companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him), Asma bint Yazeed, is similarly reported to have killed nine enemy soldiers from a group who had decided to attack a tent of women and children. The rest of the soldiers fled, fearing for their lives. Allahu Akbar! Such bravery on account of these women puts to shame most "men" of today.

1. Raising Mujahid Children
This is perhaps the most important role women can play in Jihad - raise their children to be brave and loving, courageous and sensitive, and fearing none other than Allah. Raise them as such not only in spirit, but also in terms of physical ability and training. And raise not only sons as such, but daughters as well. The key is to start instilling these values in them while they are babies. Don't wait until they are seven to start, for it may be too late by then! Some practical tips that most sisters can implement without difficulty are as follows:

1. Tell children bedtime stories of Shuhadaa and Mujahideen. You will find many such stories from the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the Sahabah, and throughout Islamic history, including contemporary times.

2. Give young children a lot of love and nurture a sense of security and confidence in them. Teach them by example how one should stay calm and confident in 'scary' situations (if one occurs), and teach them the importance of relying on dua, that Allah is always with us and will protect us if we rely on Him. Also, don't scare them with threats of things such as policemen, monsters, jinn, and other things as are common in many cultures. Instead, try to make them improve their behaviour by stressing how Allah, The Most Glorious, loves people who do good and how He can punish those who do bad if He wants to.

3. Emphasize, while disciplining young children, that they are not to hit a Muslim, but rather forgive, and are only to get their anger out on the enemies of Allah who fight against Muslims. Teach them the meaning of "Ashiddaa'u 'alal kuffari ruhamaa'u baynahum" (Strong against the disbelievers and merciful among
themselves). You can make a makeshift enemy (could be a punching bag for instance) if you have to, and encourage children (especially boys) to use it and build their strength as well as learn to control and direct their anger.

4. Eliminate your television and video games completely if you can (these things mostly teach shamelessness, anarchy, and random violence) and keep a check on the company your child is in. In addition to the largely damaging content of TV in general, another of its negatives is the laziness and passiveness that it breeds, and
the mental and physical loss that it contributes to. Compare this to the healthy aspects of engaging children in play and sports that benefit them in terms of discipline and physical strength.

5. If you have acted upon items 3 and 4 above, it is a good idea to start your children young in terms of introducing them (through safe toys) to target-shooting under complete adult supervision. Make it very clear who their target should be and who their target should NOT be. This can be done through toy guns and toy military sets, as well as by engaging in sports that develop good hand-eye coordination, such as darts and archery. If you can spare the time to spend with your children and play military games with them in a fun way, and get them interested in these (as opposed to other largely useless, but very popular games and sports), then that will insha'Allah be counted as Jihad in itself (as preparation for Jihad is a part of Jihad). You can practice in front of them in your own home using their toys. Children learn by imitating what adults do. Insha'Allah you will find them interested and imitating your actions and they will become disciplined experts before you know it. Of course, if you own a real weapon, then please keep it totally out of young children's reach and don't use it in front of them either.

6. Some sports and activities that will be an asset in Jihad training for your children (and yourselves), in addition to being enjoyable, healthy, and fun:

Archery
Target-shooting (with different kinds of toy
weapons)
Darts
Horse-back riding
Orienteering (learning to navigate your way in the
woods)

Camping / Survival Training (an excellent and enjoyable method of training!)

7. Get your young children interested in Jihad by getting military books (preferably with pictures) and other similar books, CDs etc. and by visiting web sites such as http://web.archive.org/web/20010815184554/http://www.qoqaz.net/ along with your children, and utilizing other internet resources. Show them the pictures of Mujahideen (while making dua, praying, in training, etc. - nothing 'graphic' please) and encourage them to become like these people at the least. Introduce them to various weapons and military vehicles through pictures and toys. Please use discretion on what a young child should see and what not. You may find that you will need to filter out many things, so please be careful (you can make a scrap-book by cutting out only those pictures you want them to see). Don't underestimate the lasting effect of what those little ears and eyes take in during the first few years of life! What is most important is building confidence, and instilling a love for Allah, the Prophet (peace be upon him), Jihad, and the Qur'an, that will all become a part of the child's future character Insha-Allah.

8. A mother knows very well the aptitude of her children. In accordance with this, she can encourage her children in the relevant aspects of Jihad. Note that participation in Jihad can be in various ways. For instance, a nuclear physicist can help strengthen the national defence system of Muslims, an expert of communications can assist in his role, a computer expert can dedicate his or her skills to the service of the Mujahideen, a news-reporter can help further the cause of Jihad by bringing authentic news to the world, and a doctor or nurse can help the Mujahideen in the medical aspect. Children need to be made clear what their goal is, as well as what
it is not, by taking on any given profession - that their goal is to serve Allah in the highest way possible (through Jihad) and not to accumulate wealth and physical comforts for their own sake. It should be emphasized here that, no matter what profession is chosen, even if it be with the intention of Jihad, still, basic military training is a must. In fact, military training is a right of the children upon their parents.

2. Physical Training
There are two main reasons why sisters themselves also need to get military training:

1. So that they can Participate Themselves :
Especially helpful aspects of military training for women are:

Firearms - Learning to shoot a weapon, and keeping one where possible is another asset whose value cannot be overstated. Imagine if every woman possessed this in a Muslim society! Imagine how many sisters would be prevented from being raped and killed at the hands of the barbarians. Imagine how may barbarians could at least be wounded before they could take our sisters. At least our sisters could contribute to Jihad before getting killed themselves, as opposed to being totally helpless and easy victims. The Russian barbarians and rapists in Chechnya would think twice before they would try to arrest and torture women if they feared this sort of retaliation.

Self Defense and Hand-to-Hand Combat - Physical self-defense, and especially RAD (Rape Aggression Defense) are other valuable skills that ALL sisters, whether they live in a potential war zone or not, need to learn. This training is generally easily available and makes use of techniques that give even weak and frail women an advantage over burly men. The advantages of such training are obvious and need mainly an eager mind and heart.

Build Stamina - Any kind of military participation requires a fair amount of stamina. Sisters need to build their stamina, both physical and emotional. Engage in a proper exercise program for the former, and try to imagine and picture what jihad would be like and envision one's own role, visit Jihad websites such as http://
web.archive.org/web/20010815184554/http://www.qoqaz.net/ regularly, and try to remove the fear of blood and injury for the latter.

An example of a strong woman is that of Safiyyah bint Abdul Muttalib mentioned above. In the battle of Uhud, her brother Hamza's body was mutilated by the kuffar. Safiyya (may Allah be pleased with them both) insisted on seeing him, so she could reinforce her desire to fight against the kuffar and encourage others. Initially she was refused, but upon her insistence, she was allowed. She was patient at the site of what would make most women lose their minds. She did not hit her head, and wave her fists and yell out aloud, but was an example of extreme emotional strength and patience.

2. So that they can Train their Sons and Daughters:
All other fields of military training in addition to the above are helpful here. If young children can learn the names of all the Pokemon characters, surely they can learn some basic terminology related to Jihad. If they can learn nursery rhymes and whatever have-you on television, they can also learn the duas that help the
Mujahideen in Jihad. The key is to present this information to children in a manner that does not turn them off, but rather, gets them interested and engaged in a positive 'fun' manner (Note that 'fun' here does not mean music and dancing, as is portrayed by Western children's TV programs). If a mother or caretaker possesses knowledge and training of Jihad herself, she can impart that easily to her children and those in her care, not the mention the important role of men - fathers, uncles, brothers - in this aspect. (See: "How Can I Train Myself for Jihad?")

3. Encourage Loved Ones to go for Jihad
This, again, can be done in various ways:

Naseehah - by patiently and untiringly encouraging the men of their families, reminding them of their duty to Allah and other Muslims, reminding them of the blessings of Paradise and the torments of this world and the next - all in a way that encourages them and does not make them feel pressured or causes them to turn away. Remember that we cannot force anyone to go, as firstly, that is contrary to the role Allah has assigned women, and secondly, if the men go unwillingly and under pressure, they may not be useful to the Mujahideen and may even become an unwanted burden.

Dua - Ask Allah , The Most Powerful, to change the hearts of unwilling men, make them and their families steadfast, and guide all Muslims! It is only Allah , The Most High, Who can change hearts around and give the ability to do what needs to be done.

Patience - Know that when one's caretaker goes out for Jihad, it is a time for much patience for his family, especially his mother, wife, and sisters. Encourage your men by being strong, confident, and patient, so they can focus on their mission and not worry about the anxiety of their women.

Skills - While Islam does not require women to learn any technical skills or get an education in order to get a job, however, if a woman will do so with the intention of supporting the family if her father or husband or brothers go for Jihad, then, Insha-Allah that can be counted as her participation. Ideally, sponsors should take
care of the families of the Mujahideen and Shuhadaa', as according to the Prophet (peace be upon him), taking care of the family of a Mujahid and equipping a Mujahid are also Jihad. However, given the present unfortunate times where women are expected to fend for themselves in need, it is not a bad idea for a Muslim
woman to acquire some skill provided the intention is correct.

Tawakkul - Tawakkal 'alallah! Rely on Allah, for He Alone is enough for His servants. Refresh belief in Qada wal Qadr (Islamic concept of Destiny and Pre-Ordination)- that whatever Allah has decreed to happen will happen and none can avert it. If a woman's loved one is to get injured or die, that will happen at the time
and place appointed. Not going to Jihad will not avert that. If one has to face financial difficulty, that will happen even if the husband or father is around - so don't stop them out of such fears - remind yourselves, make some sacrifices for Allah (Paradise is not all that cheap), and do what needs to be done!

A Special Section for Special Sisters:

True stories of some heroic contemporary women whose husbands are either engaged in fighting or have attained the ultimate success of martyrdom:

This section is added to give a real-life flavour of the lives of some of those women who participate in Jihad in the background, by taking care of their husbands' children and property in his absence, by encouraging their men, and by patiently bearing all the consequences thereof. The information has been extracted almost ditto from the diary of a certain sister who has personally known or met these sisters. Some information has been changed/omitted in an effort to hide the true identity of the sisters mentioned below:

Umm Saburah - Wife of a Shaheed

Q. Ma Sha Allah, you are one of the most honoured women to be the wife of a Shaheed! I don't know what I would give to have that honour! Tell me, sister, how did you manage your (several) young children all through the years he was in Jihad, and how are you managing now?

Umm Saburah: I used to teach children and live with whatever I got out of that. Now, with the persecution of my government (they arrested and harassed her) I don't even know where I am going to go. People tell me all sorts of things. What can I do? I am just visiting family and friends moving from place to place at the moment. My dream would be to go to Chechnya and work with the refugee women there. I would want my children to be exposed to that life. I think the hardship will be good for them. There is too much luxury, too much ease over here?

Q. Subhan Allah sister, you encouraged your husband all along for Jihad even though it was so difficult for you. I know of some sisters who just only think of themselves and their rights and stop their husbands from Jihad? and then there are others whose husbands simply don't want to go even though the sisters encourage
them?

Umm Saburah: Well, in my case, it was my husband who taught me and encouraged me. Sometimes I felt like that (referring to the women who discouraged their husbands), but I never tried to stop him or discourage him, as it is haraam to do so. Jihad is a fard from Allah. How could I stop him from that?!

Q. I have heard a lot about your husband? tell me more about him? how was he martyred? Of course, Allah only knows who is a martyr, but we like to think of him as such.

Umm Saburah: O I know he was martyred (and her eyes filled with tears and she paused). He had all the signs of a Shaheed. They wouldn't send his body home after they killed him. They kept it for several days in cold-storage. Finally, when they sent it home (a very short distance from the cold-storage facility), his body was so warm and he looked like he was still alive! He had all the signs of a Shaheed. He always wanted Martyrdom. Once in a previous war he was badly injured and doctors had said he would not be able to survive, but he did and became well. He was saddened by his recovery and often used to cry, thinking that perhaps he was not good enough to be accepted by Allah as a Martyr. He was a very good husband and a very good man.

Q. So what do you want your sons to be when they grow up?

Umm Saburah: (Firmly) They will be Mujahideen insha'Allah. That was their father's wish and there is no choice about it.

Q. How will you ensure that they do take that route?

Umm Saburah: They do have other brothers (in Islam) who were my husband's friends and they have already instilled in them these values. They look up to their father and what he did with admiration and respect, and they look up to his friends now. My daughter feels angry at the whole situation though and I am working on trying to give as much love as I can to all my children. It's hard, but Alhamdulillah.
[The above conversation was at a time of great trials and difficulty for Umm Saburah. Please realize that the Allah Who tests His slaves also helps them. Alhamdulillah, she is in a much better and happier situation now insha'Allah. May Allah bless and protect her and her children and continue to keep them steadfast in the deen!]

Umm Siham - Wife of a Mujahid
This is what Umm Siham described of her experience when her husband first went out fi sabeelillah:

" It was hard, but also Allah made it easy in some ways. My youngest child was only some days old when my husband left. My older child was two, and I couldn't get myself to go out and earn money and leave the two young ones. My mother bought me some fabric, so I used to sew and make crafts and sell these at whatever occasion I could. There was a time when my living room was strewn with fabric, but at least I could stay home and be with my children. The money I made was very little - but SubhanAllah, it went a long way (Barakah from Allah). It was enough for all our needs. Now, the times when my husband is home and is earning, and the children are getting bigger, I see that our children just consume so much more money and the
expenses are so much more! (perhaps this is a sign from Allah to return to Jihad?!)?"

Umm Sahl - Wife of a Shaheed
No one could have dreamt that one day her husband would go for Jihad and that
Allah - The Most Glorious, would choose him as a special martyr. It was reported that the smell of a very pleasant fragrance, like musk, emanated from his body after he was martyred! Perhaps a sign from Allah for sinful people like myself who underestimated and even doubted him at times - may Allah accept him as a
Martyr in the highest levels of Paradise and forgive me (Ameen).

Umm Sahl had been married for about a year to her Shaheed husband when he left for Jihad. She had one child from her Shaheed husband. Her baby was merely a couple months when his father left - insha'Allah to meet with them again in Jannah! When she was told that she had all the good anyone can wish for - a shaheed in the family who will insha'Allah intercede on the day of judgment. What more could anyone want?! She smiled and said that "We could not just rely on that and had to strive ourselves, as only Allah knows for sure". From her way of talking, it could be felt that she had a very deep love for her shaheed husband. Her dedication to Islam was evident from every single thing she did and said. May Allah protect her and her family and continue to guide them all along the straight path (Aameen). She has a small business of her own, but the emotional pressures after her husband's martyrdom left her unable to manage it for some months, which forced her to take a loan (Without interest) - the paying back of which was difficult for her. (This information she only revealed hesitantly upon my insistence). When asked if she would accept any financial help from some institution, she said she would only accept it anonymously - so no one finds out who she is, as she could never bear to ask for money! SubhanAllah! She never filled out the application that was mailed
to her - out of her personal dignity and honour! May Allah bless her and fulfill all her needs in the best way possible (Ameen). I pray Allah makes the means to support the many sisters, who, with Allah, may be better than the rest of us, yet are forced to go out of their homes and work, and raise their children all alone, and live in hardship - yet they refuse to beg, refuse even to demand their God-given right from other Muslims. Truly they have sold the Dunya for the Aakhirah - so they have nothing to lose. They are filled with patience and a love for Allah and Jihad. It seems that the following Qur'anic verses were revealed specifically for such families of the
Shuhadaa':

"O You who believe! Seek help in steadfastness and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the steadfast. And call not those who are slain in the path of Allah "dead." Nay, they are living, only you perceive not. And surely We shall try you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives and crops; but give glad tidings to the steadfast, who say when a misfortune befalls them: Indeed, to Allah we belong and, indeed, to Him we are returning. Such are they on whom are blessings from their Lord, and mercy. Such are the rightly guided." [Quran 2:153-157]

But what is one to say of the rest of the Muslims who don't support the families of the Shuhadaa' and the Mujahideen?! This is despite clear hadiths which put the supporting of the families of the Mujahideen as Jihad itself. What can one expect of such Muslims who themselves have neglected their duty of Qitaal even when Muslim women are raped in the thousands - and have adopted non-Muslim ideas to the point where they expect even these great, humble, modest sisters who cover from head to toe, to take off their face-veils and go work - facing a hostile world all alone - because no one else will support them! These great mothers of Mujahids and wives of Shuhadaa! May Allah, The Most Appreciative and Generous, accept their sacrifices
for His sake and may He, The Most Glorious, guide all the Muslims to realize their duties to Him (Ameen)!"

4. Training in Combat Medicine and First-aid
The glorious women of this Ummah, the female companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him), were experienced in this aspect of Jihad, and in-fact, this was a job assigned mostly to them. It goes without saying that one needs to be trained beforehand in order to be of benefit when the time comes. Such training is generally easily available. At a minimum, sisters should know how to stop bleeding from a wound, how to dress wounds in different parts of the body using a bandage and what to do if a bandage is not available, lifting and turning a person who cannot walk without bearing all the weight, how and where to apply basic antiseptics, how to deal with potential broken bones, dealing with head-and-neck injuries, and other such first-aid techniques. Another very helpful skill is the knowledge of using natural resources for medicines and first-aid. This knowledge is valuable to reduce dependence on synthetic medicines, which may not be easily available in a combat zone.

5. On an Academic Level
Sisters can participate in Jihad on an academic level in the following four ways:

Answer Objections Raised Against Jihad - Read books such as those of Shaikh Abdullah Azzam and others, that deal with the aqidah (doctrine) and fiqh (practical application) of Jihad. Know how to answer objections and propaganda of those who seek to eliminate Jihad (or Qital) from Islam, or at least change it's nature by coming up with watered-down and new interpretations of the word 'Jihad'. If the misinformation being spread by these people is not checked, it will contribute to further Muslim massacres, such as that of Bosnia, where the population had largely left Jihad. Thus, sisters need to educate themselves in matters of Jihad, as well as help others learn the truth.

Encourage Others to go for Jihad - Allah , The Most Exalted, has commanded the Prophet (peace be upon him): 'And strongly encourage the Believers to go for Qital (fighting in the path of Allah).' [Quran 8:65] It has to be said that men tend to listen more if they are told to be 'men' by women. So sisters, use whatever means Allah has given you within Islamic bounds, encourage all the Muslims you can to realize their duty to Allah and His deen. And very importantly, encourage other sisters as well, as it is they, with Allah's help, who mold the thought-process of their young sons - the future mujahideen of the Ummah.

Obtain Knowledge of Jihad and Teach/Train Other Women (and men if needed) - Don't hold back on whatever knowledge and wisdom Allah grants you. If Allah has shown you the way that leads to Him, then show that to others without holding back. Let Allah protect you and other Muslims and let no other fear
overcome you.

Read and Narrate for Motivation - Read about Jihad to motivate yourselves, your children, and others you know. Humans love stories, so be generous with telling uplifting stories of Jihad.

6. Fund-raising
Allah , The Most High, has commanded Muslims to engage in Jihad with their selves as well as their wealth. Sisters can help arrange for fund-raising events; call, email, and visit their friends, neighbours, and relatives for the same; and donate for Jihad from whatever Allah has blessed them with of jewellery, money, and assets. If sisters want to donate their jewellery, a suggestion (applicable most parts of the world) is to be the first to donate it at a fund-raising event, and arrange (preferrably beforehand) to have it auctioned off at the event. You can also request to not give it unless it's cost is met. Experience has shown that usually the jewellery that is auctioned first generates high donations, sometimes several times more than it's monetary worth. What actually matters is the intention of the donor, as that is what causes even a small donation to multiply with Allah - The Most Generous!

7. Dua
One of the most important, if not the most important contribution of sisters in the on-going Jihad in Chechnya and other locations worldwide is their sincere dua, as is requested by the Mujahideen themselves (See: "A Call to All Muslims").
If sisters (and brothers for that matter) don't know the Qunut nazilah, a dua from the Sunnah, then it is imperative that they learn it as soon as possible and recite it in their witr prayers at a minimum. Another dua for the Mujahideen is contained in (See "A Dua for the Believer"). Allah, The Most High, understands all languages and accepts sincere supplication from all His servants! May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala grant a
complete and permanent victory to the Mujahideen fi sabeelih, and may He, The Most High, give us the ability to do our part in Jihad to the fullest, and may He accept it from all of us (Ameen). May Peace and Blessings be upon the Noblest of all Prophets and Messengers. And the end of our call is: 'Praise be to Allah, Lord of all Worlds'.
