Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) in referencing its media release dated 21st October, 2019, is renewing its call for the Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley to shut the doors of state owned TV station; TTT Limited, if it is the minister of communications under the directive of the Prime Minister, fails to investigate if there are any labour breaches at state owned company, TTT LIMITED.

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) is calling on TTT LIMITED to account to every deserving tax paying citizen of this country, simply because they are the true owners of this company and they deserve the right to know how their money was spent and is being spent. They deserve the right to be informed of any managerial issues, especially when it comes to the treatment of our countrymen who are the employees of this company.

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) has in the past called on other state agencies to account for their failed policies, mismanagement and corrupt practices. We demand that steps be taken to remedy this symptom of failure on the part of this present administration, before its too late, at which time, we'll be forced to accept another loss; a drain on our talents, money and resources.

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) is calling on the Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley to shut the doors of state owned TV station; TTT Limited. Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) understands apart from the company operating at a loss, it is compounded by the fact, TTT Limited, is in breach of all labour laws in this country, as they don't pay overtime to workers, rather they utilise the "Compensatory Time Off System" (CTO). This bugs the question; why the move to implement such a draconian policy to employees already experiencing late salary payments, since 2018.

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) is calling on the Minister of Communications Senator, Donna Cox to clarify this information and state to the country, if TTT is breaking Labour Laws, and show proof to the citizens of this country, that this isn't so. Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) is also concerned about a "clique" at the state owned media house who seems to be acting as Judge and Jury. This "clique" of Managers some of whom have no background in media and the creative Industry are also the ones championing draconian policies in the company, much to the distress of workers. Can the Communications minister also clarify this? And by extension the honorable Prime Minister? 

Responding to a letter written by Indera Sagewan, published in the Guardian on Monday, August 28, 2017 under the headline: ‘Another debacle: CNMG to TTT’. The then Minister of Public Administration and Communications; Honourable Maxie Cuffie, Member of Parliament for La Horquetta/Talparo, said "... is not simply a cosmetic name change... the closure of CNMG goes beyond re-branding and restructuring..."

The then Communications Minister Stuart Young in an article written by Camille Hunte published in the Express Newspaper July 6th 2018, said “I will fight hard to make sure jobs are maintained and let us turn this around.”

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) reminds the country that this state enterprise is one which was used as the source of corruption in 2015 which saw huge and exorbitant salaries being paid to former managers of the TV Station. This is the same TTT who has a perrenial problem of changing managers every so often, and a failure to increase viewers or attract viable, sustainable sales to generate revenue. It is clear, by these revelation, TTT, described on its Website as an" "Enterprise providing broadcast, production and transmission services for audiences within Trinidad and Tobago and beyond." has strayed from it's mandate. 

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) in an attempt to address these issues sent messages and made numerous calls to the line Minister, Senator the Honourable Donna Cox, to no avail. Imagine that! The Communications Minister, does not know how to communicate. We are therefore calling on the  the Prime Minister, Dr. The Honourable Keith Christopher Rowley to shut down the and liquidate this "debacle" according to, Indera Sagewan-Alli in 2017.

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic front) is calling on the Prime Minister Dr. Keith Christopher Rowley to stand up for justice and fairness and for the rights of the Uighur Muslims of China. We are calling on the Prime Minister to make a clear statement and speak out against the many atrocities inflicted on these persons. We are calling on this Rowley led administration to reject the policies of this far Eastern country that is working counter to peace. We demand this government to call on the international community now to stop China from striping Uighur Muslims of their language and culture.

This Heartbreaking human rights violation that is taking place in China, must stop.

According to the UN, around one million Muslims in the Xinjiang region have been rounded up and held in so-called "re-education" centres - camps the Uighurs claim are intended to replace the next generation's Uighur identity with a Chinese one. They’re forced to endure severe political indoctrination and other awful abuses.

This injustice has been going on for far to long. We as being part of the international community must raise our voice and help these victims of unfair practices.

We demand that Prime Minister Keith Rowley on our behalf; the Muslims of Trinidad and Tobago, call on China to show evidence they are not, under the pretext of counter terrorism and religious extremism, holding Uighur Muslims at 're-education' camps.

We further demand the Government withdraw all obligations it holds to Chinese citizens here until our demands are met.

We call on the government to lobby other governments to declare that China is a liability so long as it continues to strip Uighur Muslims of their language and culture. This clearly is a severe human rights violation at the hands of the Chinese government.

We call on the government to urge the international community, they must demand that the Chinese government immediately repatriate all Uighur Muslims back to their homes and to allow the Uighur’s their rights.

If this is not done we will hold the government of Trinidad and Tobago guilty of, dereliction of duty and partly responsible for this crime.  The instruments of our government has failed us and continue to fail us time and time again. We are not prepared to allow this to continue and so should not, the rest of the people.

It is amazing how quick the Muslims came in defense of the Prime Minister after a photograph of the Prime Minister, with eyes closed, sitting on the floor of a Masjid, was circulated over social media, but stood silent when he dismissed the horrifying account of our Muslim brother's experience in Jordan where he and his family was detained and tortured in Jordan. Minister of Local Government, Kazim Hosein and these Muslims never came in defense of our Muslim brother, Keegan Roopchand's claim which is in violation of the United Nations Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) notes, Imam Raffaic Mohamed was quick to point out, with the support of Minister Kazim Hosein and his followers that, "You disrespected the office of the Prime minister, you disrespectful to the office of the Imam, you disrespect the Jamaat, its members and you disrespect the Muslim community. When news come to you, you must verify the truth.” Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) is warning the Muslim community, they are doing much worst as it relates to brother, Keegan Roopchand. Imam Raffaic Mohamed together with Minister Kazim Hosein and his followers stood right next to the Prime Minister when he belittled Keegan Roopchand as unworthy of serious consideration. Not an iota of caution came from the mouths of Minister Kazim Hosein and these Muslims; as the Imam rightly said, "When news come to you, you must verify the truth.”

Minister Kazim Hosein and these Muslims have compromised their faith and moved away from the adherence of the Qur'an and the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) on the very same day in which they aught to have exemplified what they have benefited from the Month of Ramadhan.

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) is calling on Minister Kazim Hosein to resign his post as Minister of Local Government on account, if you cannot properly represent your own, certainly you will not be able to represent the people. Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) is further reminding Minister Kazim Hosein, he is a Muslim first before anything else and his true allegiances and obligation is with Allah, Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and the believers. Take a lesson from your sister in faith, Nafeesa Mohammed who have never wavered in standing for truth, justice and fairness.
