Response to Government Ministers

Media Release:

Re: Response to government ministers.

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) takes no pleasure in criticising government ministers as this embarrasses our ministers and by extension our country and its people. It is however necessary especially in times like these where the rights and privileges of our countrymen are being stripped away and the citizens looked down upon as fools and rotten souls.

First of all I would like to call upon the Minister of National Security to immediately tender his resignation for his comments and uttering a blatant lie on Saturday last while addressing  a march against crime in Terchier Village, Point Fortin, Minister Dillon told Newsday that it was his view that a very small group of Muslims who have not conformed to the faith of Islam and have erred. Dillon said, “There is a small minority of Muslims who have gone against their faith of Islam and that is what the leaders have said. We cannot put everyone in the same bucket. So, we reach out to those who believe they are true to their faith. The Muslim groups wanted to see me. I did not plan the meeting; I met with those who wanted to see me, so the Muslim body came together.”

These comments were very unfortunate as not only the Minister was being untruthful but has insulted the Muslim Community, pre-judged us and labelled us hypocrites.

According to an article in the Guardian Newspaper entitled "Help us Find Them" dated Saturday 11th February 2016; The meeting was planned, the ministry issued a statement and the American Embassy was involved.

At this juncture Dillion's resignation would be considered an apology. He has acted with incompetence and as soiled an important design woven in the fabric of this country. He continues to follow the dictates of America by chasing a ghost and Turn a blind eye to the reality of crime and the decay of our society.

We are also calling on the Attorney General to immediately tender his resignation for his role in the controversial marriage act and the proposed Amendment Bill to the Terrorism act. The manner in which the marriage act was passed and his proposed course as it relates to the amendment to the Terrorism act has shaken the very foundation of our Religious doctrines. He sorts to unfairly place the Muslims and the government of this country on an unfriendly path which would eventually compromise his role and purpose.

And last we again call on the honourable Prime Minister to immediately advise the President to revoke the appointment of the Foreign Minister. Dennis Moses' deafening silence on matters affecting Muslims globally has paved the way for the spread of islamophobia here in this country and should be held to account for allowing the spread of this scourge by not condemning the senseless slaughter and atrocities against our Muslims brothers and sisters overseas.

Government's Interference With Religious Laws, Rights and Freedom.

Media Release:

Re: Government's Interference With Religious Laws, Rights and Freedom.

Waajihatul Islaamiyyah (The Islamic Front) is standing firm in its belief that the government of Trinidad and Tobago is interfering in our religious laws, our religious beliefs and our religious rights and freedoms.

We have been paying very close attention to the reckless and irresponsible behavior of this administration in its haste to pass the marriage bill both in the Upper and Lower House. The AG, by adopting this position, has caused citizens to question the role of the parliament in protecting the nation from the onslaught of reprehensible behavior by our parliamentarians.

What's next on the table? Our religious festivals? Our ceremonies? Our religious attire? The hijab?  I am again warning of the consequences if this bill is passed in the Lower House and assented to by our President.

The President's authority is under scrutiny, via the ongoing investigation ìnto allegations of misbehavior in public office by way of his lavish and reckless spending. I am again warning that this can be seen as a trend by this adminstration to circumvent religion in this country and by extension the Western hemisphere.

We have already witnessed an example of this when the terrorism bill was again tabled in Parliament. This is exactly the type of action and measures taken by any state that would feed into the rhetoric of the outgoing US Ambassador John Estrada when he said and warned that a terrorist attack can happen in Trinidad and Tobago at any time.

Furthermore, we can very well witness a negative spiral of social issues as a result of this. Haven't we learnt the lessons from China's One Child policy and its negative fallout.

My closing statement to this government and its AG in particular: "You are standing on holy ground."

The Jew; A True Chauvinistic Sectarian Creature

"Verily, We did send down the Taurat (Torah) [to Musa (Moses)], therein was guidance and light, by which the Prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah's Will, judged the Jews. And the rabbis and the priests [too judged the Jews by the Taurat (Torah) after those Prophets] for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah's Book, and they were witnesses thereto. Therefore fear not men but fear Me (O Jews) and sell not My Verses for a miserable price. And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kafirun (i.e. disbelievers - of a lesser degree as they do not act on Allah's Laws )." (Qur'an 5 : 44)

Here Allah in this verse tells the Jews that all the Prophets were muslims (submitters to God) whereas the Jews had deviated from islam (submission to God), and true to their chauvinistic sectarianism, were content with remaining merely 'Jews'.

"The worst place on earth is the markets" (and the worst markets are the Parliaments because in it the words of Allah is sold for a miserable price...)...

Kuwait lawmaker wants to scrap Sharia rules

Rula Dashti, who does not wear the hijab, challenges the requirement that women must comply with Sharia rules to exercise their political rights. Women’s head covers stir up debate among Islamic scholars...

Four years ago when that parliament voted to grant women full political rights was when they made their first mistake and by extension we all share in that mistake… They are now plagued with an evil that would have naturally followed and by extension we are all plagued with this evil... They should all be killed for their wrong doing…

Thoughts on Trinidad and Tobago Budget...

The thing about it is that the budget affects everyone. So why does the government not consult with the people on the issues relating to the budget before it is taken to parliament? So we are asked to comment on the budget after the fact... Unless we decide to overthrow the system and put in place a system that will be just to all, I don't think there is anything we can say or do that could change what has already been decided. All that is left for us to do is swallow what is being put down our throats and stay silent. It’s all a big ‘pappy-show’...
